Currently a finalist for 2010’s Cabaret Performer of the Year, Sheelagh Murphy is a talented vocalist with a wide range and sassy style. Described as a mix between Bette Midler and KD Lang, Sheelagh brings a fresh sound to classic tunes. She has played stages from New York to LA, from Dublin, Ireland to San Francisco, inspiring people with her passionate voice and dynamic stage presence. Her repertoire ranges from jazz to show tunes, from cabaret to blues, moving easily between styles with her full-bodied voice.

Raised in theatre Sheelagh has also graced the boards to perform in theatre and musical productions around the US. These shows include "Away Alone" Tir na nOg Theatre Company, Denver, “A Queer Carol” for the New Conservatory Theatre San Francisco, as well as an invitation to perform in Spencer Day's Original musical “Someday Love”.
